New Zealand rolls out a new Covid-19 Tracer App
If New Zealand continues with 'Zero' new cases, will we move to Alert Level One and if so when? It's the main discussion point around the traps. The powers that be have to be confident in the move and make a well-informed judgement call at some stage. We do know NZ will not move into Alert Level 1 unless director-general of health, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, gives the word.
Until then we will continue to live in our strangely distanced world, covered in hand sanitiser, wary of people getting too close to us and looking for little feet prints to stand on in shops and malls.
Hang in there peoples for that distant light of normality is growing brighter.
Fast and effective contact tracing is essential to stop any further spread of COVID-19 in New Zealand. NZ COVID Tracer supports this by creating a digital diary of the places you visit.
The first time you open NZ COVID Tracer, you’ll be asked to enter your email address and create a password. You’ll then receive an email with a 6-digit code that will allow you to complete the registration process.
You can then visit the app dashboard to register your details, let us know where you’re staying, invite friends and whanau to download the app, and register your interest in features that will be added to the app in future updates.

In the words of Anne Frank
“I don’t think of all the misery but of the beauty that still remains.”
The fact that you are born and brought to life is beautiful in itself. While your life might be encircled with numerous miseries and tragedies, hold on to the belief. It is the optimistic belief that has the power to do wonders. It not only gives you strength but also sets things right. That positivism is indeed a beauty that surpasses every negativity.
Have an awesome weekend team. Enjoy the newfound freedom and stay safe out there.
