As a Quantity Surveyor or Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes checking and approving issued quantity measurement packages, providing advice on contractual claims, and reviewing cost proposals.
Your responsibilities will range from preparing estimates based on bills of quantities to recording actual work measurements and preparing variation orders and reports. You will also be involved in obtaining all the contractual instruments necessary for the commencement of the project.
Strong understanding of construction budgets, including the ability to prepare detailed estimates and manage costs effectively.
Deep understanding of contracts, including the ability to advise on claims, review proposals, and ensure compliance.
