We’re Hiring Dairy Assistants for Multiple Farms:

All roles require previous milking experience.

‍A commitment until May 31st is required (permanent roles available).

📍 Southland:
🔹 Milking 600 cows – 60-bail rotary (11/3 roster)

‍

Your Key Responsibilities:

✔ Milking, bringing cows in, and plant washdowns

✔Calving & calf rearing –feeding, health checks, and weaning
✔ Animal health (feeding, treatments, monitoring)
✔ Pasture management (moving break fences)
✔ General farm maintenance
✔ Machinery operation & upkeep
✔ Weed control & spraying

‍

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Previous dairy farm or livestock experience (essential)
✅Good English & communication skills
✅Willingness to learn & work as part of a team
✅Legal right to work in NZ (AEWV not supported)
✅Bonus: Tractor or 2-wheel motorbike experience
