Dairy Assistants

All roles require previous milking experience.  

Selwyn District
Milking 800 cows – 60-bail rotary (8/2,8/2,8/3 roster)

‍Your Key Responsibilities:

·        Milking, bringing cows in, and plant washdowns

·        Calving & calf rearing –feeding, healthchecks, and weaning

·        Animal health (feeding, treatments, monitoring)

·        Pasture management (moving break fences)

·        General farm maintenance

·        Machinery operation & upkeep

·        Weed control & spraying

‍What We’re Looking For:

·        Previous dairy farm or livestock experience (essential)

·        Good English & communication skills

·        Willingness to learn & work as part of ateam

·        Legal right to work in NZ (AEWV not supported)

·        Bonus: Tractor or 2-wheel motorbike experience
