Drainlayers & Drainage Labourers

About The Role:
We are looking for experienced Drainlayers as well as top notch Drainage Labourers. From subdivisions & pump stations to commercial works and residential super lots, there is a great lineup of work ahead... and it's only growing from there!

Our Client is a progressively growing civil company with specialised drainage  projects across Christchurch, from Rolleston to Amberly and plenty of ongoing work.

Drainlayers:‍

• Minimum 4 years' experience.
• Read plans and take levels and heights.
• Hold relevant licenses to the field. registered OR certifying
• Class 1 license, W,T,R.
• Have de-watering experience, pump knowledge.
• Know how to bench manholes and have a good eye for quality.
• Set up pipe lasers.

Drainage Labourers:‍

• Minimum experience 2 years.
• Not afraid of getting dirty in this very physical job.
• Hold current driver's license. WTR or more is an advantage.
• Must have own transport.
• Use of compaction equipment, concrete saw & assisting with setting lasers for heights & levels.

What We Require:‍

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude & MUST be used to hard work.
• Be reliable, trustworthy, and team player.
• A good level of physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Strong awareness for all things H&S
• Confined spaces is an advantage.
• Valid Site Safe and or Construct Safe - we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
