Dump Truck Operators

About The Role:
Are you a skilled Dump Truck Operator ready for your next adventure? We’re looking for experienced and reliable operators to work on large-scale civil construction projects just 10 minutes south of Christchurch Central. If navigating tricky terrains and tackling hill work sounds like your kind of challenge, this is the role for you!‍

  • Bulk cut-to-fill earthworks.
  • Construction of carriageways, footpaths, cycle lanes, retaining walls, berms, kerb and channel, control structures, and drainage.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Safely operate dump trucks on challenging terrains, including hills.
• Transport earth and materials as needed for project progress.
• Ensure machinery is well-maintained and running efficiently.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.

What We Require:

• Proven experience operating dump trucks on civil construction projects.
• Confidence driving large plant machinery on tricky terrains and hills.
• A valid driver’s licence (Class 1 minimum).
• Construct Safe or Site Safe certification (preferred).
• A proactive, safety-conscious, and reliable attitude.
• Reliable transport.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
