What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead and manage a large, diverse carpentry team to complete high-quality finishing and joinery work.
- Be highly organized with materials, ensuring the right resources are available to your team when needed.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure smooth workflow and meet project deadlines.
- Read and interpret drawings and translate instructions into practical, high-quality finished areas.
- Drive the program to completion, ensuring all finishing carpentry tasks are completed to the highest standard with no rework.
- Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and other trades to maintain alignment on project goals and progress.
- Set carpenters up to execute high-standard joinery and finishing work with an eye for detail and precision
What We Require:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry, specializing in finishing and joinery work.
- Proven experience leading a large, diverse team of builders and carpenters on large-scale construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a program to completion while maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage your team and collaborate with other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of New Zealand building standards and health & safety regulations.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
