Forklift Operators

About the Role:

‍We currently have vacancies for Forklift Operators to work in a large  processing factories in South Canterbury.As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for a range of tasks throughout the warehousing and factory processes. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, reliable and willing to earn and progress!

Roles and Responsibilities:‍

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Scanning products and keeping records
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stacking empty pallets
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Checking loads are secure
• Supporting Packout operations.
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Dumping materials into machine hoppers
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• Maintaining a clean & safe environment
• Complying with company policies and legal guidelines

‍Role Requirements:‍

• Be capable in using warehouse software and scanners.
• Be a great team player.
• Forklift experience and F endorsement & OSH
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and criminal check
• Access to reliable transport
