About The Role:

‍Are you ready to showcase your carpentry skills and contribute to exciting construction projects across Christchurch? We’re seeking experienced Hammer Hands to work on a variety of sites, including schools, hospitals, substations, gyms, multi-unit housing, and churches. From framing to skylights, your work will play a key role in shaping up-and-coming developments in our city.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Tackling a range of carpentry tasks such as framing, tilt panels, cladding, gib board, and skylight installations.
• Working on both internal and external carpentry tasks, ensuring precision and quality.
• Installing doors, windows, roof timber, and wall linings with attention to detail.
• Collaborating with other tradespeople to achieve seamless project outcomes.

What We Require:

• Proven experience as a Hammer-Hand.
• Site Safe or willingness to obtain before starting - we can assist with this.
• Own tools.
• Familiarity with construction techniques, tools, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt to varying project requirements.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
