Leading Hand / Supervisor - Concrete Construction

About The Role:

‍We’re on the lookout for a skilled Leading Hand / Supervisor to join a quality-focused concrete construction team in Christchurch. You’ll be leading from the front – managing teams, interpreting plans, and delivering high-standard formwork and carpentry across varied commercial projects. What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading small site teams and delegating daily tasks
• Reading and interpreting detailed construction plans
• Installing all types of formwork – steel, plastic, and timber
• Carpentry work including framing and general construction
• Solving onsite challenges with a proactive approach
• Ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards

What We Require:

• Trade qualified carpenter
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Skilled with hand and power tools
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence and own transport
• Ability to read and follow plans
• Good physical fitness and health & safety mindset
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
