All students are required to have personal travel and medical insurance. While New Zealand has reciprocal agreements for free hospital care with Australian and British passport holders, this coverage doesn't extend to dentists, doctor visits, surcharges, or unforeseen circumstances.
Car insurance isn't mandatory in New Zealand, but it is highly recommended. Fortunately, car insurance in New Zealand is reasonably priced compared to European standards. Getting insurance coverage is advisable.
While we understand the desire to be close to friends, New Zealand's vastness makes it challenging to guarantee proximity. Placements depend on farm vacancies, required skills, and farmer preferences. However, we do our best to accommodate such requests.
